Each rule configuration starts with basic fields that:
- Determine the rule’s function by naming and describing it
- Enable or disable the rule
- Specify the configuration mode.
Advanced configuration mode adds the Alias field: Unique rule alias. (objasniti)
Below is the explanation of the basic fields: Name, Description, Enabled and Configuration mode.
Name #
Name the rule by populating the Name field. Make sure it’s unique and it represents the rule’s function well to be easily recognizable by all users, for example, “Contract – Deal – Copy End Date.”
Description #
Optional. Briefly describes the rule, like “When Contract entered state Active copy End Date to related Deal.”
Enabled #
Specifies whether the rule is in use. By default, rules are enabled. Disable rules by selecting No.
